So the reason we were going to Nice, France was a stop over to get to Barcelona. We didn’t want to drive straight from Rome to Barcelona, so we stopped in Nice to sleep. We also drove through Monte Carlo, Monaco on our way so we could see the fanciness of it all. We didn’t do a thing in Nice except go to dinner and watch TV =] It was by far the nicest hotel we have stayed at, complete with free internet on the TV, free movies, and it was just super nice looking. It was a very nice relaxing evening.
I remember going up to the fancy casino in Monte Carlo and watching the big fancy cars drop off the fancy people. I think it was the first time I saw a Hummer. Crazy. Why would someone drive such a huge car on roads that were so skinny and winding. Right to the edge of cliffs - right? So beautiful and exciting. I'm glad you got to go there.
